A good Early 19th Century Antique English moulded pottery Jug, issued to commemorate the coronation of King William IV and Queen Adelaide on 8 September 1831. Each side of the body transfer printed in magenta with images of the King and Queen, the central panel depicting the crown set within a foliate cartouche and bearing the legend “King William IV & Queen Adelaide Crowned Sep. 8. 1831. This together with a number of smaller floral vignettes, with text lauding “His Most Gracious Majesty King William 4th” and “Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Adelaide”. Unmarked.
