The touch, which appears not to be listed by Cotterell, comprises a winged angel, in his right hand an erect sword, in his left a pair of scales, with a hart rampant to his right; all this within an oval cartouche surmounted by a partially erased name ******INGER, below which appear the words ENGLISCHE ZINN. This accompanied by a second mark, No. 4 within an oval cartouche. The single reeded edge with marriage triad, MEW within wrigglework decoration, and between what appear to be two tulips. The underside with single footrim. Possibly a wedding gift.
