Contact UsA good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Indented Pottery Plate, printed in the “Native” pattern by William Adams of Tunstall and Stoke, Staffordshire, { 1769 – }. The bucolic scene depicts two dismounted women talking to a kneeling fisherman beside two horses on the bank of a river, with cottages and a bridge in the background. The reverse with pattern title NATIVE within a beaded rectangular reserve printed in underglaze blue. Good stilt marks and footring. One of two of matching plates presently available.
