A rare and fine Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Pottery Asparagus Server, one of two presently available, each of which may be purchased individually, both being listed separately here. The interior and sides printed in a medium blue with a “Chinoiserie” pattern, no Maker’s mark, but the one server bearing in underglaze blue the astrological sign for Libra – The Scales, which, together with the fine quality of the pieces would suggest Spode as the likely manufacturer. This, the unmarked item.
